Lewis Hamilton - World's Best Paid Sportsman

After winning the formula-one championship last night, Lewis Hamilton became Worl'ds Highest Paid Sportsman as well as the youngest ever. Lewis Hamilton, is just 23 Years Old,  he is a British and has claimed the title of being the World's Highest Paid Sportsman. He will be earning a minimum of 100 Million Pound.

Mr. Hamilton has surpassed the record of David Beckham who earned 31 Million Pound and also of Tiger Woods who earned 72 Million Pound this year.

Mr. Hamilton was required to finish on the fifth place in the race, to top the championship, even if his rival Felipe Massa won. British viewers were stuck to the Television Screens as Hamilton overtook another driver on the last Bend of the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Massa's Ferrari team were celebrating as he passed the finish line, but their celebration turned into dismay as Hamilton's McLaren overtook Toyota's Timo Glock. This is what changed the whole attitude of the crowd, as the championship title was taken away from Massa.

Hamilton has earned remarkable fame as he was named the 'Outsider' and had also endured some racist chants from the Fans. His achievement has been labelled.

Hamilton's boss, Ron Dennis said: " Who would have thought that Glock would have stayed out on dry tyres? It seems like Toyota have made a mistake with the tyres they chose. It's all a bit technical, but there doesn't seem like anything dodgy or untoward."

Being interviewd by the media, what Lewis Hamilton had to say:
" It is pretty impossible to put it into words. I'm so speechless. It has been such a long journey with a lot of support back home. I am so thrilled to be able to do this for everyone. I can only Thanks God. I was trying my hardest to get past. It was one of the toughest races of my life."

Lewis Hamilton is the first Briton to take the World Championship since Damon Hill in 1996.

Mr. Gordon Brown, the Prime Minister Of Britain had also some words to deliver.
" I, like so many, want to congratulate him on becoming the youngest world champion in Formula One history. The first championship, I think, of many that he's going to win in years to come. I think the whole of Britain are proud of the inspirational Lewis Hamilton and the McLaren team. I am thrilled. He has got some exceptional talent."
