Google Chrome, New Version Released - Updated

Google Chrome 0.4.154.18 Beta

The updated version of Google Chrome has been released. Google officially updated its Chrome Browser, which had some security issues as well as they have added some features. The key features which have been updated are as follows:

Blocked Up Notification:
Formerly the Chrome browse used to minimize pop-up windows at the lower right corner. As many pop-ups would have appeared, it would minimize it. But now as the Google Chrome has updated its browser with new features, the new function makes it easier and smarter. As many pop-ups would have appeared on the particular page, the Chrome Browser displays a small notification at the corner, alerting you about the pop-up. It lists total number of pop-ups opened and the feature also includes a menu option by which you can open a specific pop-up if desired. That's the update made to the Blocked Pop-ups.

Privacy Section In Options:
All the configuration options have been grouped together for features that might send information to other services. For checking how it works, update your browser open the options tab and click on Under The Hood
.

Bookmark Manager With Import/Export Options:
Use the 'Customize and control Google Chrome' (wrench) menu to open the Bookmark manager. You can search bookmarks, create folders, and drag and drop bookmarks to new locations. The Bookmark Manager's Tools menu lets you export or import bookmarks.

Security Issues: This release fixes an issue with downloaded HTML files being able to read other files on your computer and send them to sites on the internet. The Chrome browser now prevent local files connecting to the network with XMLHttpRequest() and also prompt you to confirm a download if it is an HTML file.

I hesitate to use even upgraded versions of Chrome, since my last experience using it (first version) left my computer compromised; have they fixed the security issues beyond all doubt?
