Pizza Hut - We're Changing Our Name PASTA HUT
One of the oldest chains in the business of Food Industry has rebranded itself. After 50 years of managing its name as Pizza Hut, the company is bringing in a radical relaunch with a budget of 100 Million Pound to Pasta Hut.
Nine of the restaurant's will be changing their names immediately. With this launch, they will be introducing 8 different pasta dishes across its 700 branches. They will be keeping the same Pizza's on the menu, while introducing Pastas.
Claudia Nicholls-Magielsen, the Marketing Director Pizza Hut said, they were making the change as research proved that consumers wanted more variety when eating out and on average Britishers ate more Pastas then Pizza's. She said " We want to be as famous for our pastas as we are for our pizzas."
The name change will be supported by a Multi Million Dollar campaign mostly done by the TV ads and are being created by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO.
