Madonna-Ritchie DIVORCED
Madonna's UK Spokesman, Moira Bellas, revealed that Pop Star Madonna and her film director husband Guy Ritchie are to be divorced. In return the couple has asked the media to respect their privacy.
When asked from Guy Ritchie's representative, he also confirmed the news but told the media that the couple has not yet agreed on a settlement. That is to be decided later on.
Ritchie and Madonna were married seven years ago at a lavish ceremony in Scotland.
Earlier, there were media reports that Madonna was involved romantically with New York Yankees baseball player Alex Rodriguez who is also divorced from his wife. Despite trying to patch things up, they both know deep down that divorce was on the cards.
The couple has two children together - Rocco and David. Madonna also has a daughter from her previous relationship. Guy Ritchie was the third husband of Madonna. Previously she was married to Carlos Leon and Sean Penn.
It is also reported that Guy Ritchie has broken off from filming in France and flown to back to UK to inform his parents about the split.
The couple were introduced by Sting and Trudie Styler.
